The story so far.

September 1999, this date commemorates the first time stepping foot off the tiny island of Malta where I was born. I was only three months when I first went abroad and my parents did not take me far as Sicily was my first ever destination. Since then traveling became more frequent and my appreciation for it continued to grow. As you may have realised by now, traveling is one of the things I'm passionate about alongside music and food. This is why I chose to express my passion through this blog dedicating it to different travel destinations and how the constantly changing environment has an effect on travel. Travel consists of so many aspects such as experiences, culture and food, this is why I aim to delve into its various sectors and explore how current events alter the meaning of travel. 

Coming from a family who also shares the love to visit different places has definitely been a reason to why traveling has become such an important part of my life today. The exposure one receives from traveling has always been a fascination of mine. From exploring different cultures to the unique taste of a place to the conditions in which a population live in are all reasons to why I enjoy traveling.

Visiting all the seven continents in the world and seeing what they have to offer has always  been valuable to me. It is something which I wish to achieve one day and as time goes by, this personal achievement seems to be more and more attainable.

Bali

When a natural disaster occurs, it often has diverse effects on the locals and those visiting. The impact it causes also depends on the place, since certain countries might have more money to invest towards mitigation strategies . By doing so, a country is able to prepare itself, which could possibly mean less damage caused and people killed. Therefore, the money spent on investment could mean saving money on paying for damages in the future.   A natural disaster could come in many forms such as a tsunami, earthquake or volcanic eruption. Over the past few days, Mount Agung in Bali has caused many eruptions and has put people on high alert. Greece

One of the main things that motivated me to continue studying for my A levels was definitely the  trips I had planned for the summer. Friends, beach and booze. Those three words sum up my experience in Greece over the summer. By far, one of the nicest places I visited so far, categorised by its beautiful scenery and delicious delicacies. Although, there is an unpleasant side to such a charming country which all began in late 2009.
