Malta & Gozo

The Maltese archipelago consists of mainly three islands being Malta, Gozo and Comino. With Malta being the largest at 316 km² and Gozo coming in second with an area of 67 km². Many Maltese citizens and Gozitans find it difficult to travel from one island to another since there is currently only one method of transportation being the ferry. The Gozo Channel manages these ferries and currently have three ferries operating, which make daily 25 minute journeys between the two islands.   A large number of citizens travel between the islands on a daily basis for work or educational purposes. Having only one method to get from one island to another, which may not always be reliable or efficient. Bali

When a natural disaster occurs, it often has diverse effects on the locals and those visiting. The impact it causes also depends on the place, since certain countries might have more money to invest towards mitigation strategies . By doing so, a country is able to prepare itself, which could possibly mean less damage caused and people killed. Therefore, the money spent on investment could mean saving money on paying for damages in the future.   A natural disaster could come in many forms such as a tsunami, earthquake or volcanic eruption. Almost 50 years ago there was very little planning when it comes to precaution and evacuation in Indonesia and this had resulted the death of around 1,500 people. "The 1963-1964 eruption of Mount Agung was Indonesia’s largest and...

This is known as the Greek debt crisis ,  where it became acknowledged that their budget deficit was 12.9% of their GDP (gross domestic product). With Germany being owed an astounding amount of €87 billion from Greece. As a result, various austerity measures were established in the hope of reducing its debt crisis. "The crisis triggered the  eurozone debt crisis  and created fears of a global  financial crisis . It threw into question the viability of the  eurozone  itself. It warns of what could happ...
